The 2nd generation Honda Insight was introduced in 2009 as an improved version of the original 1st generation Honda Insight model that was launched in 1999, it is a hybrid electric vehicle, which was developed to provide a more advanced and eco-friendly driving experience for consumers.
In 2014, Honda discontinued production of the Insight due to low sales, partly due to competition from the Toyota Prius. While the Insight’s sales numbers were not as high as some other hybrid models, its impact on the market and Honda’s success in hybrid technology cannot be understated.
Both 1st generation and 3rd generation Honda insight diecast models were introduced before, what a pity, only a few 1/43 scale Honda insight diecast are available for collectors.
