As you know, the Honda HR-V is a subcompact crossover SUV released in 1998 as the first generation, and we have introduced the 2nd generation Honda HR-V diecast models in previous posts, with the released of the 3rd generation HR-V, now it is time to introduced its related diecast models.

Different with the 1st and 2nd generation Honda HR-V, the 3rd generation HR-V have different models for different markets with different codenames. The global model with codename RV was released in 2021 and there is a larger Honda HR-V with codename RZ released in North American market.
In April, 2023, the 3rd generation Honda HR-V manufactured by joint venture Dongfeng Honda was released in China, and this is the firs time the HR-V nameplate was used in China. As you know, there are too many variants of Honda HR-V in China such as Honda Vezel, Honda XR-V and its electric version Honda e:NS1 and e:NP1, however, no HR-V was used in China before.
With the release of 3rd generation Honda HR-V in China, its related diecast model can be found later, however, now only the 1/18 scale model in deep blue was released, picture is below.
Look at pictures, it is the replica model of 3rd generation 2023 Honda HR-V in bright color, in addition to detailed exterior and interior, there are lots of working parts just like the real HR-V, for example, you can open the four car doors, bonnet, trunk, car sunroof and fuel tank cap, the rearview mirrors can be folded or unfolded, when front wheels turn right or left flexibly, the steering wheel will be rotated.
In diecast car models market, you can only find a few Honda HR-V models, and this new release Honda HR-V diecast model brings new option for collectors or car owners, and I am not sure whether its related 1/43 scale model will be released or not, we will pay attention to this point.
