The 5th generation Honda City with codename GM2/3 was released in Thailand in September 2008, and later in Malaysia, China and so on. In China, the 5th generation Honda city was renamed with new Chinese name Fengfan(锋范), which is different with the 4th generation Honda City, and we have introduced these 1/18 scale Honda City Fengfan(锋范) in previous post.
Yesteday we mentioned that there is no 1/18 scale 4th generation Honda city diecast models released in China, strictly speaking, this is not right, there are two 1/18 scale 4th generation Honda city diecast models, however, with the nameplate Everus S1.
In 2011, based on the 4th generation Honda city, a new car was launched by joint venture Guangqi Honda with their new Everus brand, and it was called as Everus S1 because it was the first car by Everus. You can find lots of characteristics of 4th generation Honda city from this Everus S1 on both exterior and interior.
